Refund & Return Policy

1. Marketplace Nature

Hobby Space is a multi-vendor marketplace platform that connects buyers and independent sellers. Products listed on Hobby Space are sold and fulfilled directly by individual sellers unless otherwise stated.

As a marketplace platform, Hobby Space does not manufacture, own or inspect every item listed for sale.


2. Order Cancellation

Before Shipment

Sellers may cancel an order if:

  • the item is out of stock
  • the listing contains incorrect pricing or information
  • the item is no longer available

If an order is cancelled before shipment, the buyer will receive an automatic refund to the original payment method.

Automatic Cancellation

If a seller does not process an order within 7 calendar days, the order may be automatically cancelled and refunded.


3. Return Eligibility

Due to the nature of collectibles, hobby products and marketplace transactions, returns are generally only accepted for the following situations:

  • Wrong item received
  • Item significantly differs from listing description
  • Missing items from the order
  • Item damaged during delivery
  • Item received in non-working condition (where applicable)

Return requests must be submitted within 3 calendar days after the delivery date.


4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are generally non-returnable unless otherwise required by law:

  • Change of mind purchases
  • Buyer remorse
  • Opened blind boxes or sealed collectibles
  • Trading cards with subjective grading expectations
  • Minor packaging imperfections
  • Manufacturer defects disclosed in listing
  • Pre-orders and deposit-based purchases
  • Items marked as final sale
  • Digital products or downloadable content

5. Condition Requirements for Returns

Returned items must:

  • be returned in original condition
  • include original packaging where applicable
  • include all accessories, inserts or bundled items
  • not be intentionally damaged, modified or tampered with

Sellers may reject returns that do not meet these conditions.


6. Damaged Parcels & Shipping Issues

Sellers are responsible for packing items securely before shipment.

Buyers are strongly encouraged to:

  • record unboxing videos
  • take photos of damaged parcels immediately upon delivery
  • retain all packaging materials

These materials may be requested during dispute investigations.


7. Refund Process

If a refund is approved:

  • refunds will be processed back to the original payment method
  • processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or bank
  • shipping fees may not be refundable unless the error was caused by the seller

8. Marketplace Disputes

Hobby Space may assist in reviewing disputes between buyers and sellers where appropriate.

To support dispute resolution, buyers and sellers may be asked to provide:

  • parcel photos
  • unboxing videos
  • tracking records
  • chat screenshots
  • proof of damage or incorrect items

Hobby Space reserves the right to make a final platform-level decision based on the information provided.


9. Seller Responsibility

Sellers are responsible for:

  • ensuring listing accuracy
  • maintaining stock accuracy
  • securely packing items
  • processing orders within the required timeframe
  • providing truthful item descriptions and photos

Repeated disputes, excessive cancellations or policy violations may result in seller account restrictions or removal from the platform.


10. Buyer Responsibility

Buyers are responsible for:

  • reviewing product listings carefully before purchase
  • checking seller reviews and ratings
  • ensuring shipping information is accurate
  • understanding collectible product conditions and variations
